85 for 85 Public Lands

I had the pleasure to make a piece for the 85 for 85 project which raised funds to support the Wilderness Society's lawsuit to fight to protect the public lands.

Natural wonders have a way of bringing about this unmatched feeling of awe and wonder.

Which is why I wanted to make a piece that represented that sense of being surrounded by mesmerizing wonder, along the way I was also inspired by Teddy Roosevelt’s fight for land conservation. I used an acrylic marbling technique to create natural patterns and movement that mimic those found in canyon sediment layers.
